Hey man, on friday 8 August 2008, school celebrated national day. I was there too, so was the primary ones and twos. They were supposed to be in the afternoon session. They finally got to experience the pain and the torture of waking up early and going to school, haha. Though they seem energetic, they sang the songs so loud that my eardrum shattled, haha. So, after that we got to go back to our classrooms and start on our umbrella making competition. The teachers gave us white umbrellas so we can use different colours and all sorts of stuff to decorate it. We were doing that in groups of 4. I grouped with Jackie, Ryan and Benjamin Lee. Remember Jackie and ryan? They were mentioned last month about the robot making plan and they being playful. So, the umbrella making was much better. We started by copying the picture on the back of the national day t-shirt and i had to be their so called "model". Ryan called me that. So after that we decorated it with shiny paper and glitter glue until we are shiny. haha, it was great. Then, we had to submit our umbrella and we didn't expect to win second! We screamed(ok, i admit i didn't really screamed, the other guys did and i just laughed along), and when up to take our $10 voucher to share. Ryan got the most in the end 5bucks cause her contributed the most and the rest of us gets $5 divided by three, haha.
